Customer Review: Disposable to Cloth
I was a doubter that a busy mother could handle the added work of cloth diapers. I pictured pins and rubber pants and soak throughs. I have two babies in diapers and luckily they both fit into the toddler size Kushie diapers. There are no pins and the diapers don’t soak through if you change often as you should anyway. Now I can’t believe I spent all that money, time, and energy on disposables!

Customer Review: Great alternative to pins
Each one lasts for months and is really sturdy. I hated using pins with cloth diapers, so this is much better and it keeps the diaper snug. I’ve never had one come undone. I would recommend darker colors because the lighter colored ones got stained a bit over time.
Customer Review: Dangerous?
I don’t think these are necessary at all. Most diaper covers today are made with a little pocket in front that will hold the prefold just fine, no leaks. These claw-like things might keep the diaper closer-fitting, but I worry about how they attach–those claws are really, really sharp!! If this ever gets in a toddler’s hands, it could cause some real damage. Plus, mine have come undone a couple times, just the bottom claw, but if they come undone and move around in your baby’s diaper area, that could really hurt, too. Not worth the trouble, in my opinion.

Customer Review: A LEAKY DISSAPPOINTMENT!
I’m a first time mom & really wanted to go cloth. The Kushies had some decent reviews, so I put them on my registry & rec’d a 5pack. Tried them out when my daughter was 11lbs (well within the 10-22lb wt limit). My daughter has a habit of peeing right when you change her, which is what she did in these diapers & they LEAKED EVERYWHERE!!

Safety 1st Diaper Pail Customer Review: Not Big Enough and Foot Pedal Awkward
This pail could be bigger. I was surprised at how small it actually is when it arrived. The one thing I disliked the most was the foot pedal that opens the lid. The pedal is narrow and works best if you have a very small foot. If you wear slippers to keep your feet warm your foot might be too large to fit into the pedal area. The pail will scoot away from you as you try to fit your foot into the pedal to open the lid, which can be very frustrating during diaper changes. The pail is very low to the ground. It is not really large enough for those who cloth diaper. If it was about six inches taller and 4 inches wider it would be a much more sufficient size. Also, the pedal mechanism needs to be larger and deeper to accommodate larger feet, especially for dads. With some small improvements this pail could be very promising. We are looking for a larger pail and might end up making our own out of something from Rubber Maid.
Customer Review: Great for cloth diapers!
We’ve used this pail for 2 months, and have only minor complaints… It is quite short, so I have to lean over pretty far to get under the lid. Also, it’s difficult to get the lid on tight, and if too loose, the pedal won’t open the top all the way and I have to lift it by hand.
