Customer Review: Kid K’Nex is the best !!
I was buying my son a toy and couldn’t decide between a over sized robot or Kid K’Nex. I had never even heard of Kid K’Nex before and didn’t think much of them. The sales person was high school age, so I asked him what a 3 year would like best. He said definitely the K’Nex. I actually thought he might be wrong, but I bought them anyway. I gave them to my son, showed him how to put the pieces together and we built one of the suggested figures. At first my little guy was so very frustrated. He just wan’t getting it. He couldn’t put the parts together, etc. I helped him several times, but after a while I told him he needed to find a way to put this together that worked for him. I swear, he has never put them down since. I am absolutely AMAZED at how long he will play with this kit. It really is astounding. He makes the most incredible things and his imagination runs rampant. I’m thrilled – completely thrilled – that he has found this toy. He’s learning how to realize his imagination while improving his fine motor skills. Honestly, I would have paid twice as much for this….and it STILL would be money well spent.
Customer Review: Worth The Money
My son received 3 sets for his 3rd birthday and he loves them and he plays with them all the time, alone or with an adult. He can spend hours playing. After I saw how much fun he got out of them I purchased this as an addition to his collect. This is a toy that is worth the money. One that you can continue to add to. To get real creative you almost need to buy more than just one box.

Customer Review: Two boys’ review: We have fun with Lincoln Logs
My two sons, ages 6 and 4, have a large rug in their bedroom that is a map of the world. On that map, they build and play and pretend, consuming hours, afternoons, weekends.

I’m happy that even today a set of wooden toys can capture the imagination of children despite the competion of video games and TV and electronic toys that require batteries.

Customer Review: K’nex are great – but don’t overpay
My kids love K’nex and this is on their wish list for this year. . .but beware people selling it for $89+. The regular retail price at ToyRUs is $59.99, and I just got it on sale for $41 and some change, and they still had more in stock (not online, just in store).
Customer Review: Lots of fun!
This product is great. Everything works in it except for the swing arm ball drop. But my 8 year old son was able to fix it. The ball would not go into the first cup on the swing arm ball drop as things didn’t seem to line up correctly. We reviewed the instructions a few times, but we had built it correctly. My son added a small piece of foam to one rod, and that helped place the rod and ball cup in the correct position to catch the ball. The only reason we took a star off is for the swing arm ball drop.
