LEGO Star Wars: TIE Bomber Though the finished product is a fun toy–a spectacular Tie Fighter with many mobile parts, a missile that can really be fired, and a little black-suited pilot–it is almost more like a 3-D puzzle than a toy. For younger kids who don’t have the patience to wade through the directions, which though text-free are really quite detailed, the 229 pieces may end up in a big, hopeless muddle. But for kids with the ambition and focus, or for parents who want some together time with their kids, the task of putting the thing together is certainly doable, and the result is a fun and colorful slice of the Star Wars universe of your very own. –David Stoesz
Customer Review: Awesome Set
This set is truly awesome. It is my second favourite LEGO set next to AT-TE. The 229 pieces aren’t hard to put together, but deliver the fun none the less. This set has two basic actions; it can fire a missle if the black lever is pulled, and it can drop tiny lego bombs made from blue transparent LEGO pieces by pulling back the thing on the end of its pods.

Overall, this set is well worth the money, and lasts along time, I’ve had it for a month, not a piece has broken off, I even dropped it to the floor on a carpet, it survived. GET THIS SET. Reccomended for ages 7+.
Customer Review: Great design and way cool!
The TIE Bomber is one of the best Star Wars Lego sets I’ve ever seen! Lego did a fantastic job in recreating this fearsome ship of the Empire. This set is great fun to play with and has many intricate details. This ship has two compartments that are side-by-side: the cockpit and a compartment which launches a missile.
The cockpit is roomy and plus, directly behind it, there is a little compartment where you can drop “bombs” which are small blue Lego pieces. The cockpit and missile launcher compartment are connected by a small bridge. The set even has an awesome TIE Pilot minifig!

Overall the TIE Bomber is an excellent addition to your Star Wars collection. It’s an absolute must-have. Get it while you can, Star Wars fans! May the Force be with you!

Lego Star Wars Hailfire Droid (4481) Item is in stock and ready to ship.
Customer Review: This is a big, beautiful model!
Whew! I built the Lego Hailfire Droid last night, and it is a monster. It has almost 700 pieces, and it took me over four hours to build. Definitely a good buy for anyone who likes the construction aspects of Lego. The model has a variety of interestingly-shaped pieces–I had to resist the temptation to cannibalize it for other creations before I was finished! You may not agree with the five-star education rating unless you’re a gearhead. It is by far the most intricate set I’ve come across. Even in larger sets with more pieces I’ve never seen such a mind-bendingly complex design. The instructions are easy to follow (as usual)–it’s the surprising ways in which the subunits combine that make this such a joy to build. Make sure you have plenty of table space!

I call this a ‘model’ and not a ‘toy’ for a couple of reasons. The first is the complexity of the design. Almost all of the pieces are normal or modified Technic pieces–lots of girders and snap tubes, very few flat bricks. The Hailfire Droid verges on the complexity of the Ultimate Model kits.

I also call it a model because, once built, you may not actually play with it much. Not that it doesn’t have play value–it actually rolls on those huge wheels, which is VERY cool, and there is a big spring-action laser cannon that pops out from below the fuselage. The problem is that there is no good place to grab the thing! That might be a plus rather than a minus if you are looking for a model rather than a toy–the entire surface is crammed with cool machinery and loads of detail, but that does make it difficult to hold securely. Also, the completed vehicle is not fragile, but it is . . . rickety. Iit will NOT fall apart, unless you drop it or maybe hurl it across the room–in fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how securely the different subunits bolted together. But it does creak and squeak and even flex a little bit, as you might expect from a big, skeletal Technic vehicle. Think of it as Lego’s B-52: huge, gorgeous, and sturdy–but more flexible than you might expect.

If you have a Mindstorms set, you might want to pick up a Hailfire Droid just to see if you can motorize it–my favorite Lego fantasy since I finished building mine! For everyone else, this set is still a great value: hours of fun construction, and a very big, very cool finished product.

Lego Star Wars Jedi Duel This compact 81-piece mini set features the sinister Count Dooku in a Jedi duel against the small and wise Yoda. Young LEGO builders must first assemble the one-seated speeder for Dooku and the laser-looking machine that stands nearby. Then the miniature figures, complete with weapons, can engage in battle and determine the fate of the universe. While full of creative play on its own, this LEGO set may be better served with larger ones for even more imaginative fun. –Pam Lauer
Customer Review: Anish’s reveiw for Count Dooku’s speeder
This set’s cool because I never thought there would be a Darth Tyrannus mini figure in lego. I finished making this set and I play with it so much. On Dath Tyrannus’s speeder he’ll try to get away from Master Yoda. When I turn Darth Tyrannus’s speeder up it looks just like a big robot!
Customer Review: Jedi Duel
This is a cool set. I really like Count Dooku’s Speederbike. It has cool fins and a clip to put a lightsaber. Count Dooku’s lightsaber has a curved hilt like in the movie. If you want a cool Star Wars kit, you will like this!

Lego Star Wars Jedi Master Yoda (7194) This LEGO kit is for serious builders–or at least for serious Star Wars fans. Over 1,000 interconnecting pieces make up this kit that, when all put together, creates a 14-inch-tall model of the Jedi Master, Yoda. The colored illustrations in the instruction booklet show how to assemble the tan, brown, and green pieces, while three different pictures on the back of the box show variations in the completed product. But any way you look at it, 1,078 more LEGO pieces to add to a collection isn’t half bad. –Pam Lauer
Customer Review: Fun
…The directions are pretty easy and it was fun making it. It took me one whole day and I could have done it in less hours if I didn’t make mistakes and do some parts all over again. Anyways I recommend this collectible and you can actually move his head! You can put it on your shelf and enjoy the view of Yoda !- Yoda is the best!
Customer Review: Oah! The price I like not!
Always in the hunt for any kinda Yoda – related merchandise to get for my mom (she’s a hardcore Yoda -phile), this D.I.Y. gnome initially had some potential to be yet another addition to her collection. I liked the, um, blocky look and found this little statue somewhat whimsical. Had Picasso envisioned such a creature during his cubist period, this statue would’ve most likely been the result of his vision.

Unfortunately, I found the price tag for this set too rich for just a static collection of interlocking plastic blocks. Now I realize Lego sets- especially when combined with the Star Wars brand- tend to be expensive, but, if I’m gonna put out that many bucks down for this contraption, the Lego Landers could’ve at least included a few things that’d make the little guy a little livelier. A mere swiveling head just ain’t gonna cut it for me! Why not throw in some turntable pieces so his arms can move at the shoulders? And while you’re at it, howzabout includin’ some electronic gadgetry? Like little lights that make his eyes glow, or a movement-activated voice chip containing several of his famous sayings. Now, THAT would make it worth the price!

FUN FACTOR: Two Stars. Aside from actually putting it together, this overpriced, glorified statue is NOT something I’d consider a major diversion in the realm of fun-time! The fun’s pretty much done as soon as the little green man is all together…

DURABILITY: Four Stars. True, this’ll fly right apart if dropped, but each individual brick will more than likely survive with narry a scratch to be reassembled into the collective whole once again!

EDUCATIONAL FACTOR: One Star. Unless you’re using this as an exhibit in a class on pop culture, I wouldn’t count on this bad-boy to be a significant factor in your pursuit of higher education. Class dismissed!

Lego Star Wars Set #7124 Flash Speeder The Flash Speeder is quick space transportation for two–plus some serious protection from a rear-mounted cannon. It’s really a sort of high-frontier Jeep. This LEGO version comes in 105 mostly green pieces, including a driver. Detailed wordless instructions are included, and pictures at the end illustrate a few alternative design configurations. About 6 inches long completed. –Richard Farr
Customer Review: Don’t Be Decieved
This Naboo Speeder from Lego is a little gem. Although it is not at all exciting and holds little entertainment value or building excitement, it is a great addition to a Lego collector’s collection.

It is a sturdy set that closely resembles the vehicle seen in the movie. There is a compartment in the back for keeping blasters or guns or whatever Queen Amidala wants hidden. Quick to build and very simple to complete.

No doubt this is an awesome addition to any collection! Hopefully, Lego will bring out some figures to compliment this vehicle.
Customer Review: An affordable must have!
The colors, shape, and sturdiness of this model make it a lot of fun. Unlike the land speeder model, this one does have glider pieces underneath. There is secret storage underneath the rear cannon. The side engines are really cool looking and very sturdy also. This set only comes with one mini-fig (a naboo royal guard), but you can have at least 3 along for the ride (the ones in the rear “seat” must stand though). The passenger seat gave me a great place to put my Padme fig from the podrace set. ;-)
