Customer Review: This is a PROTEIN powder base solution and has very little SILVER in it.
True collodial silver is tinted slightly grey in color. It is rarely clear and certainly the less effective silver products are amber in color to almost black. Stay away from these products as they are no good.

Customer Review: Bargain for brand name Ocuvite
Why would I want to buy vitamins from Amazon.com? I was sure there must be some mistake when Amazon offered Ocuvite vitamins for LESS than half the drug store price. I took a chance and in only 4 days had 240 Ocuvite Vitamins in my mail. They are identical to what I just paid twice as much at the drug store. Even adding a hefty $6 for postage I am saving over 35%. This is a great deal, 2 bottles of 120 capsules each, costing me less than two bottles of 60 capsules each at the drug store. I’m a happy camper, will look further at Amazon health product prices.

The product description does not tell you that these vitamins include 200 I.U of Vitamin D. I wanted a product that had ONLY Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. I’m sure the vitamins are of high quality, but Amazon has failed to properly inform people of what they’re actually buying.

Customer Review: Helped reduce floaters
I have been taking Occuvite 50+ for a few years on the recommendation of an optometrist, who thought he might have detected the beginning of macular degeneration. At the time, I had begun to notice an increase in floaters in my eyes. I am not aware of any relation between the two conditions, but over time the floaters have decreased. That might have happened anyway, but I mentioned it to my elderly mother, who has a big problem with floaters, and she wanted to give Ocuvite 50+ a try. After a year of taking one pill a day, she says her floaters have significantly decreased, and in addition she can see better: She does not have to use a magnifying glass as much when reading. So we think it is working well for us, but the only way to really tell if it is making the difference is to stop taking it and notice worsening, then start taking it and notice improvement again. The potential worsening of vision and time lag to seeing results is too long for us to be willing to do the trials. We prefer to let sleeping dogs lie. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
