Customer Review: great shoe for active kids
My 5yo loves her shoes. They have been very durable, and truly tested since she wears them almost every day and is very active. We’ve had no problems with the velcro. (Every pair of Merrell’s I’ve had for myself I have loved and never had a “break in” period or problem with velcro.) We just bought a different model of Merrell shoe which my daughter didn’t like nearly as much, so I am returning them. The Pacific Jump style didn’t have the padding around the ankle or the thick cushion for the soles like these. They just felt stiff and uncomfortable to her. Now I am hunting for more of the Sprint Jump style so we can at least have a back-up if anything happens to this treasured pair!

My daughter loves her shoes. The only problem is the velcro is wearing out and we have only had them since November. This has been a problem with every pair of velcro shoes she owns.

At the beginning of the summer I was looking for a basic pair of wedges that I could use both with jeans and cargos. I found these and absolutely LOVED them. I wore them pretty much every day this summer whether I was running errands, working, or out for a night on the town. I have gotten so many compliments on them as they are versatile, comfortable, sporty, and sexy. Despite this, I do have some issues with them and can see why people don’t like them (I read many reviews on other websites).
