Star Wars Episode II Attack Of The Clones: Republic Gunship (7163) Assembling this mighty vessel with its 686 pieces may seem daunting to some LEGO builders at first, but the result will be well worth the effort. Large and powerful enough to defeat any foe, the spaceship sports hatches near the front that open to reveal secret compartments. Miniature figures of clone troopers, super battle droids, a destroyer droid, and a Jedi knight are included for combating each other. The brightly illustrated instructions are easy to follow, and young minds will engage in hours of constructive fun, followed by many more hours of imaginative play once the Republic Gunship is complete. –Pam Lauer
Customer Review: I had to write this on the 50th anniversary of Lego’s birthday
Yes, Lego is 50 years old, a fact touted by Google today. Since my son has this (now discontinued or retired) set, I thought I’d put in a word about how cool the Star Wars sets are.

Lego has really outdone themselves with the Star Wars sets. They are all really great. I highly recommend putting them together with super glue though.

LEGO Star Wars Battle Droid (8001) Build your own battle droid from the ground up with this TECHNIC Star Wars: Episode I set from LEGO. A far cry from the simple LEGO designs of yesteryear, the 328 plastic pieces in this advanced LEGO system combine to form an impressive replica of the movie’s dreaded mechanized warrior. Although the set comes with an illustrated, step-by-step instruction booklet, its assembly may prove to be too difficult for some younger children, as it requires both patience and careful attention to detail. However, for those with persistence, the assembly of the battle droid can be a valuable exercise in following instructions and a fun way to develop fine motor skills. Once assembled, the battle droid measures over 13 inches tall in battle position and can be folded down for easy storage. Turning a dial on the droid’s back will raise and lower its right arm as it brandishes its battle droid blaster. The set’s small pieces may pose a choking hazard to younger children. –Chris Burns
Customer Review: “Roger Roger.”
What a great set! The battle droid is a very movie accurate model, from the colorations (3 different choices you can build, a battle, security or commander droid) to the look of the folded up model. This is also a very durable model, I’ve folded and unfolded mine dozens of times and have not had any problems. The magnetic grip on the blaster is a cool feature too, as the technic figure hands are not always the best a holding things. Assembly was fairly easy, with out too many snags, if your patient and follow the instructions slowly. The Battle Droid is one of my favorites out of the Technic figure series so far and holds a hallowed place atop my TV set.
Customer Review: Great Droid!
This is the first lego technic set ive ever gotten. i’ve played with the regular old lego since i was a kid and i loved it ever since and when i saw this battledroid i had to have it because i am also a Star Wars fan. This toy is very durable and fun at first then it gets kind of boring but it looks good on display because it can stand up on its own! i especially like the part that the droid can grab hi gun from the pack on his back.

Lego 7131 Star Wars – Anakin’s Podracer While working as a slave for junk-dealer Watto in Mos Espa, Jedi prodigy Anakin Skywalker quickly taught himself to repair, build, and even pilot podracers. This 134-piece LEGO set lets you cobble together the same makeshift podracer Anakin constructed in Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace. Completed, it’s a sleek, delicate craft that’s nearly a foot long from the tail of the cockpit to the tip of its adjustable air scoops. The set also includes 1.75-inch-high figures of Anakin (with a pair of flip-up goggles) and Queen Amidala disguised as Padm . You even get pieces for a Podrace pennant and a cute one-eyed pit droid–presumably to help redesign your racer when you decide to improve on Anakin’s prototype. –Paul Hughes
Customer Review: Buy for Display, buy the big Pod Race set itself for play!
The model looks okay, its overall pretty sturdy and you can zoom around and adjust the front engine foils and side flaps. The thing that bothers me the most is that tan bar used to support the entire model. I wish There was another way to handle this and also to raise the pod itself up a bit from the engines. I’m sure its fun to get a podracer to customize and re-enact the scenes, but then I’d rather invest into the 3 podracer set that includes this model, along with Sebubla’s and another.
I felt I had to get this model since its so iconic to the movie; but if I was to choose again, I dont think I’d bother with this model
Customer Review: Just real fun!
I got this lego set because well I’m a big starwars freak! And when I opened the box I built it real fast. Once it was built I put it on a shelf and loved it! But it is also fun to play with! Thanks for reading my review!

LEGO Star Wars: Naboo Fighter Item is in stock and ready to ship.
Customer Review: Mixed review.
Certainly the best of the Episode I sets, unless you are a big fan of the Pod Racers. Great yellow sloped pieces, yellow wing plates, an R2-D2 figure…probably good for kids who loved Episode I but are not as entralled with the previous films.

That said, most of the “Classic” Star Wars sets are superior to the Naboo Fighter. The X-Wing, Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, the Snowspeeder, and even the A-Wing, B-Wing, and TIE Fighter are more appealing to me than this set. Of course, if I owned several of these Naboo sets, maybe I could build a yellow X-Wing or something.

Verdict: Good for collectors and Episode I fans; other sets maybe better for builders and traditionalists.
Customer Review: Lego Star Wars Episode I Naboo Fighter
My grandsons had a fanatasic time assembling and playing with the Naboo Fighter! It was a great project for young boys and tested their skill and immagination in putting together and creating play scenarios for the plane!

Customer Review: perfect for 5 year old star wars fan
My 5 year old son has seen most of episode 5 and loved it when he recieved this set for his birthday last week. It is too complicated for him to build on his own, however, its a fun family activity to build together, and afterwards the pieces can be used to make designs from your imagination. He loves it, and has played with it every day for the past week.
Customer Review: Cam’s Lego Review

LEGO Star Wars Destroyer Droid (8002) Fans of Star Wars: Episode I will recall with excitement the power and near-invincibility of the Destroyer Droid. With more than 500 pieces and fittings, this advanced LEGO kit has everything necessary to build that fearsome automaton. And with guns mounted almost everywhere, the firepower on these cyberfighters is enough to send even the courageous Jedi out looking for another job. Multiple connections, tubes, and fittings really help bring this model to life. Instructions for two different droids are included, but as with all LEGO kits, builders can use their creativity to adapt and change the figures they build. This kit has many small pieces and requires advanced building skills, so older children and experienced LEGO-builders will have the most success with it. May the parts be with you! –Lee Strucker
Customer Review: Technic ADVANCED Star Wars Episode I: Destroyer Droid
This is a very complicated thing to make if you are younger than 11 (with an exception to those talented few). I love building things and it took me about 10 hours to build it. The problem was when i finished it wouldn’t ball up very easily when i tried or it wouldn’t unfold when it was supposed to when i finally did get it to ball up. Both of those could have been a problem with my building though. It is fun to build and when you get tired of it you can take it apart and use it for A LOT of spare parts on other technic models.
Customer Review: TECHNIC Brings Out The Big Guns!
It’s great to have a large scale Destroyer Droid with intricate design work put into it. This is definitely not for the real young kids as it has very small pieces and rubber bands. A model lover will of course love putting this one together. This Technic version faithfully brings out the best of the Destroyer Droid, one of the coolest robots to be seen on the screen in a long time. It is also a couple of hours worth of time in putting it together….but worth it when it is done. This is more a “trophy” piece then a toy because it can easily fall apart if mishandled. A great addition to any Star Wars collection.

Lego Star Wars Set #7121 Naboo Swamp Qui-Gon Jinn first realizes that Jar Jar Binks is going to be a handful when the gangly amphibian practically knocks the Jedi master into a swamp puddle during the Trade Federation attack on the planet Naboo. This 81-piece set from LEGO lets you build everything you need to reenact that scene from Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace. (And no doubt Qui-Gon would appreciate it if you could keep him a little drier this time.) The Naboo Swamp set comes with mini figures of both the Gungan and the Jedi (with lightsaber), plus two long-snouted battle droids; the remaining pieces let you put together swamp vegetation and a couple of swooping STAP hovercraft units for the pair of droids to fly on. Of course, as always, you can recombine these pieces anyway you’d like. Maybe it’s even time that Jar Jar got his own ship… –Paul Hughes
Customer Review: No cape?…………………………..Noooooooooooooooooo!
When i bought my lego with my mom i saw on the box the Jinster had on a brown cape. I opened my toy and could not find the stinkin’cape! But overall i loved the toy. Try pretending that the battle droids blow off Jinster’s head with their S.A.S.T.S. then replece the lightsaber in Jar’s hand and destroy the droids! I reccomend buying this toy. Oh yeah, don’t listen to the kids who dont like the toys’reviews!
Customer Review: Believe me no one else other people are wrong.

Customer Review: Buyer BEWARE!!!
GREAT toy! However, I JUST purchased the same thing from the actual Lego company, for $129.99~ Don’t get ripped off! I have seen these things on ebay for a starting price of $140 and up…way up!!! Great toy, but don’t get ripped off! You should NOT have to pay more than $140. Seriously…check out the catalog! There it is…$129.99. Same thing.
Customer Review: Great set
This is one of my all time favorite lego sets. The only thing is that amazon is charging more than the original price of the set!!!! When this set came out, it wasn’t even $100. Also, all of the “a kid’s reviews” aren’t correct, and I think they’re all written by the same person! They all say that by making the head very loose on the set (a major problem I found) they were making it like the movie. Well let me tell you, in the movie Luke did NOT make the head explode! The bomb he put in it made the ATAT explode internally before falling sideways and being blown up by the snowspeeders. I don’t believe that lego was trying to make this seem more realistic, because that would be a STUPID IDEA!!
