I bought Jabba’s Palace for my son a while back and when he realized that this was an additional piece that added on to it he simply had to have it. Since he has recently seen all of the original Star Wars movies, it was fun for him to be able to see the characters and recognize who they were.

Recreating part of the opening scenes of Star Wars Episode XI: Return of the Jedi, the Jabba’s Sail Barge play set lets Star Wars fans young and old lead a daring assault on the cruel Jabba to free Rebel heroes. This set comes with 781 pieces, as well as movie character minifigs of Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, Luke Skywalker, and a Gamorrean guard. The instruction booklet diagrams model construction in 48 steps with several intermediate routines along the way.

Construction completes with not only Jaba’s barge, but with a landing skiff and the dreaded Sarlacc pit (sorry, sand not included). The barge features a laser canon, a forward catapult, and drop sides for easy positioning of minifigs. The skiff has a retractable plank where Luke can begin the attack. Inside the box you’ll find 14 parts bags, six bow pieces, two sails, 5 rail pieces, Jabba the Hut figure, and instruction booklet. LEGO Star Wars TIE Interceptor Collectors young and old will enjoy building this spacecraft, used by the Empire to defend the Death Star II in Star Wars: Episode VI—Return of the Jedi. This TIE Interceptor completes Lego’s TIE collection of models, which consists of a TIE Fighter (used in all the Star Wars movies, a TIE Bomber (also from Return of the Jedi, and Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter from the original Star Wars movie. Features of this ship include a hinged canopy on the cockpit and an instrument panel that folds down. The model comes with a TIE pilot minifig, who fits within the cockpit to fly the TIE Interceptor. A quick build, the TIE Interceptor takes about 30 minutes to construct with some help from the illustrated instructions. Customer Review: Star Wars + Legos = Fun!
As with all legos, they are fragile when asssembled and can be complicated during assembly. There more for the joy of building and looking at afterward. Imagination required for full enjoyment! Star Wars sets are the best.
Customer Review: Get ready to blast off into space
I got this Lego ship for my 5-1/2 year old son who loves star wars and although he is great at building things this one did require a little help from an adult to put together. It was a bit time consuming but it was fun to put it together with my son. The instructions for building the ship were managable and this toy will definately grow with him. He does fly it around the room but otherwise lets it sit on his dresser for observation. The legos themselves are durable but sometimes the pieces can come apart so he’s fairly careful with it and doesn’t use it for rough play…it would take too long to put back together.

Customer Review: A Magnificent Monstrosity
I don’t understand the other reviewers. They ‘love’ this set…but then only give it four stars? Very strange. Make no mistake, it is AWESOME. The box is huge, it has dozens of bags inside with thousands of parts and the bound instruction book itself weighs several pounds. It will take an average person 20 to 30 hours to put together. Probably much more if you are helping a child. Every section is painstakingly accurate and detailed. Once finished it is far too big and heavy to ‘play’ with, you simply have to admire it from many angles. Even from below it is ridiculously detailed. It is the centerpiece of my guest-room (after spending too long in the living-room, according to my wife) and every time I look at it I want to tear it down and start again, it was so much fun for me…maybe next time I have a week to kill? FIVE STARS!!!!!
Customer Review: A Lego Collector’s Dream
I have been a Lego collector even since Lego came out with the Statue of Liberty (3450) with the limited green brinks. The Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon is one of the largest Lego sets out there today and I believe it is worth every penny spent! I just recently purchased this set thru Amazon.com on sale and the price has beaten most Amazon.com’s completion, even Lego (MSRP $499.00 plus tax and free shipping). You may find a better prince somewhere else, as mentioned in other reviews, so shop around, but Amazon.com might be your best bet!

Customer Review: Lego Naboo N-1 Starfighter review (I couldn’t think of a better title!
I saw this thing before I saw the old version of this set, and there’s really no comparison. It is a really sweet kit. The launcher would beat a sniper in a compitition of distance. (Not really; this thing can’t shoot 2 1/2 miles with pinpoint accuracy. Actually, this thing can’t shoot 2.5 miles at all. Drat.) Both the N-1 and the Vulture Droid look awesome, but the Vulture Droid’s “flick fire missles” don’t work at all. Who cares, though? It’s a sweet set either way you cut it.
Customer Review: Great Gift for School-age / Tweens
My son received this for his 8th birthday. He loved it! He was old enough to be able to build this from the directions without help and fast build it, he did! I thought that would be it – $[...] and he was done with it in a single afternoon – but no, he gets a good amount of imaginative play with the finished models, so it was a very worthwhile purchase. This is a great buy for children who have taken interest in the Star Wars movies and who love to assemble LEGO’s. And I expect adults who are collectors of this genre would appreciate this gift also.
