It’s made of plastic, the top part left my insoles bloody and tender, I couldn’t wear sandals for a week because of the scabs.

Sturdy. Velcro to assure width preference. Not too shabby looking. Certainly a 3.5 for I strongly believe that Half Measures are significant. A 3 they are not but neither a 4 (4 is already on the above average category). Notice they have another color available. Chose Black because they are low key and go with just about any fashion statement, be that Beach Outing, Late Night Boardwalk Walking, TV Viewing but surely no wilderness stroll. 3.5 for Columbia Sportswear Men’s Sun Quest Slide,Black,12 M.

Customer Review: Too many “pinch points” – not as comfortable as Nike sandals
It’s hard to explain, but the way they’ve cut the edges of the strap material leaves it to be almost “sharp”. No matter how I adjust them, they hurt. This was on the size 14 sandals.

Customer Review: Cupped heal keeps my heal from cracking…
It is helpful to have the high ridges on the back so that my foot doesn’t spread past the heal. I have dry skin and get the skin cracks on the back of my heal and I don’t get them with this shoe. It is great!

I bought these sandals as a blind leap of faith, because I know that Columbia makes quality products, and Amazon is great about returns (if things didn’t work out). Well, I won’t need the return policy because these sandals are excellent. They arrived quickly, were packaged well, and live up to my expectations of Columbia’s perceived reputation. I took them to Maritime Canada for a two week vacation and wore them everyday. I hiked along the rocky coast, strolled through the sand, played beach sports with these shoes on most of the time. They held up well, kept my feet comfortable, dried quickly, looked good, and most of all, THEY WERE WAY CHEAPER THAN MOST OF THE TEVA’S I LOOKED AT. THE COLUMBIA’S ARE HALF THE PRICE, YET ALL OF THE QUALITY. I’d buy them again and again. I’m not blowing smoke here, these sandals are a true value for the price. I expect to get at least a few summers out of them. For $40 bucks they can’t be beat. Teva who??

These are great sandals. They are comfortable and easy to walk relatively long distances even in rough terrain. I have a bunion and a plantar’s wart and these are one of the best shoes I’ve had. I have no problems walking in them – which is saying a lot. They are soft enough that you forget you have them on.
